Joandra Kristl-Jakubowski's Funeral and Family

This GoFundMe has been created to assist the family during their time of mourning and recovery. The funds will go towards funeral expenses, lost wages, Kevin’s family needs and medical bills. We are desperately asking for help in our time of need to support a disabled father and a heartbroken family.

On May 28th, Joandra Kristl-Jakubowski was tragically lost to us due to a fatal accident. Joandra is further survived by her husband, Kevin, (3) daughters, Jordan, Sage and Taylre, and youngest son, Anden. Joandra was the primary provider for the family due to prolonged disabilities sustained by Kevin after devastatingly unsuccessful neck surgery.

In Joandra’s short 44 years with us, she has only shone her kindness to others. She loved nature, the supernatural, and music. She practiced yoga religiously and idolized it as her “happy” place. She loved drinking coffee or tea while snuggled up with her bulldog pack, or her loving granddaughters. She was excited for the first wedding of one of her daughters and the memories that were to be made. We appreciate any support that those have to offer. Left us too soon on May 28, 2023, at the age of 44. Cherished wife and best friend of Kevin for over 20 years. Loving mama of Jordan, Sage, Taylre (fiancé Gareth Hestetune) and Anden. Grandma of Lillian and Alyssa. Daughter of Jan and Joe. Sister of Joseph, aunt of Ethan. Half-sister of Andrew. Beloved granddaughter of Kathryn Kristl. Further survived by her 6 bulldogs, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2023, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 4-6 pm.

Joandra was a dedicated and proud employee at United Health Group for over 14 years.
