Joan L. Rhodes (Joanie) was 49 years old when she passed away on 01/19/2021 in Fort Worth, Texas due to complications of COVID-19. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended St. Rose the Lima, St. Leo The Great, Redeemer and Clark High School. Joanie was a loving, selfless, brave, and a beautiful person inside and out. She always put the needs of others before her own.
She was a wife, mom, daughter, sister and so much more. She was loved by many and dedicated her life to healthcare and being a caregiver for those in need. Her daughter selected the picture attached to this fundraiser because she remembered her being so happy that day to receive the "Above the Best- National Caregiver Award". She was happy to be recognized for simply following her heart and helping others. She got her wings now and is resting in paradise with our Father God in Heaven.
Joan's mom passed away less than a year ago and now Joan . We are asking for donations to help her children (Meghan and Derek Jr.) with her funeral expenses. Any amount you can donate will be a blessing and greatly appreciated. No amount can ease the pain of losing their mom, but it can help to ease the financial burden placed on her children.
