Karina - Cambodia 2015

Hello everyone! My name is Karina Hooper and I am going to be a junior at Barclay College this spring. Through an organization that works with our school, called Juniors Global, I was one of six lucky enough to be chosen to go on a mission’s trip to Cambodia from May 6- June 3 in 2015. We will be working with different ministries that help girls affected by human trafficking by giving them skills to provide for themselves and their families. Missions was never something that I thought I would ever participate in. That thought changed when this opportunity came up and I felt a strong calling to apply. God does know what is best which is why He gave me a little push and the green light to go. This will be my first time flying, let alone leaving the country, which just increases my anticipation. I am excited for the coming experiences with the people we will meet and seeing how God works through us while over there. I have a heart for helping and the people we will be reaching out to will give a great opportunity to do so. Everyone tells me that this will be a life changing experience and I am ready for that. In order to go on this trip I need to raise $2,300. That will cover airfare, living expenses, and food. Any donation is a blessing.
