Aloha to all, 

I’m writing on behalf of my sister Jessika for my brother in-law, Jospeh Solomon, who recently started his battle with cancer. 

Jo was diagnosed with a rare stage 3 Secretory Carcinoma located in his salivary gland. A tumor the size of an egg was scheduled for a 4 hour surgery removal and 2 day recovery. The surgery turned into a 9 hour surgery and 2 week stay in the ICU. Jo is currently still being hospitalized due to an underestimated consultation. During surgery doctor found the tumor to be stickier than expected and ended up ripping a hole in Jo’s mouth (right under his tongue, around the gum line). Doctor also found that the surrounding lymph node glands also had cancer as well as the tongue muscle and surrounding nerves. 

Doctor is recommending radiation and chemo.

Jo and Jess have decided, that when Jo is released from hospitalization, he will go into a 6 week post-op treatment with radiation and possibly seek an herbal doctor. They are opting out of chemo. 

My brother-in-law is the sole provider for their family, who recently resigned from his job due to medical issues. Shortly thereafter, he's diagnosed with cancer.

This campaign will help alleviate the financial burden and the costs associated with medical expenses, cancer treatments, emergency care, etc...while ensuring that their family's everyday expenses (rent, utilities, food, etc...) are also considered throughout this process. All proceeds of this campaign goes directly to Jo and Jessika.
