Hello everyone.

As all of our family and friends know, our spunky spitfire of a Wife, Mom and Grama passed away on August 19, 2020.

Our whole family has a deep connection to Brookfield Zoo.  We will be donating a memorial bench to the Brookfield Zoo and any additional funds will go to the zoo.  In lieu of flowers, we have set up this GoFundMe Account.  

Jo's park bench will be placed in the zoo grounds, which allows our family to participate in this tribute program by supporting the values and mission of the Chicago Zoological Society through long-term recognition.   Most importantly, our whole family can go to the zoo as we always did as a family and Jo will always be there with us now.

The whole Ray family cannot express into words the gratitude of the outpouring of love for the passing of Jo.  She was a true angel that blessed all of our lives always putting her family and friends before herself.  She was taken too soon but we know she will live on in all of us.

Thank you for being a part of this very special memorial remembrance.  We will love her and miss her so deeply.
