Hi my name is Katie, and it is with profound sadness, we share the news that our beautiful Jo has sadly passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

To know Jo was to love her. She had the brightest, sunniest personality you could ever imagine and an infectious zest for life that touched everyone around her. She was kind, funny, strong, positive, and full of warmth. No matter what challenges she faced, Jo had an incredible ability to lift others up and make people feel valued, welcomed and loved.

At the heart of everything Jo did was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mum to three amazing children, and a cherished daughter, sister, friend, relative and colleague. The love she had for her family shone through in everything she did, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever.

As Jo’s family faces the unimaginable heartbreak of losing someone so deeply loved, we would like to come together to offer practical support during this incredibly difficult time. This fundraiser has been created to help ease some of the financial pressures ahead, allowing the family the time and space they need to grieve, heal and focus on one another.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jo’s family in your thoughts.

Jo’s light, laughter, strength and love will continue to live on through her family and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.

Maybe we should all be a little more like Jo. A little braver when life feels uncertain. A little kinder when others are struggling. A little more grateful for the moments that matter. To laugh louder, love deeper, find joy in the everyday, and never let life’s challenges steal our spirit. To embrace the adventures, weather the storms, face the rough with the smooth, and somehow always find a reason to smile. Jo had a rare gift for finding light even on the darkest days, and perhaps the greatest way we can honour her is to carry a little of that light with us every day. The world could do with a little more Jo in it. Always try to be a little more Jo!
Lots of love always Jo, you will be missed ❤️
