I never thought I would actually be doing this… But here goes. My name is Jo Ann and I have been a Samoyed lover for many, many years. Sherlock, here, is my sixth! He is now 9 years and 1 month old. Currently, he is in Intensive Care at North Star Animal Hospital in Robbinsville, NJ, struggling with pneumonia, diabetes, dehydration, and some kidney damage. They said to expect a 4-day hospital stay. When he is discharged, he will be on insulin for the remainder of his life. He has been a Therapy Dog for Bright and Beautiful; did modeling during COVID; AKC Agility; and the unofficial meet and greet dog at both Lowe’s and Walmart.

I was disabled from a motor vehicle accident in 2015, in addition to having other pre-existing medical conditions prior to the accident.

I need help covering his medical bills as I am on a fixed income and cannot work. He is my Service Dog and my Emotional Support Dog. I need him by my side.
