We are Jo and KT! We met in 2021 working at Harbor Camps, a summer camp for transgender and nonbinary youth. We bonded over a shared love of the outdoors and dreamed of hiking the Appalachian Trail. This spring we are setting out together on the 2,200-mile trek from Georgia to Maine. We are funding our thru-hike ourselves, but we are using this opportunity to give back to the community that brought us together and raise money for Harbor Camps.

Harbor Camps is a place where campers can build confidence, resilience, and community, and can be their authentic selves. Their summer camps are an invaluable resource for an especially vulnerable population that needs supportive communities now more than ever. Any contribution will make a difference.
