I want to reach out to my friends, family, and even strangers in this grave time that my loving family is unfortunately going through. As some of you know, my father-in-law, Ashby, was recently admitted to the hospital this past week following a massive stroke. He has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures, along with being on a ventilator for multiple days. With lots of prayers and God working through the hands of our wonderful doctors, Ashby has now regained consciousness. Although, this huge battle is not yet over, he will need extensive rehab and more medical care for him to even try to recover. Ashby was the sole provider for his household, which included him and his wife, who is also currently going through her own medical issues, including a recent triple bypass. I am now reaching out to my wonderful group of Godly and very hard-working people and pleading for help to raise money for my children’s grandparents. My in-laws, Barbara and Ashby Seay are the most wonderful people you will ever meet. Barbara has been by her husband's side every day and has been praying for his recovery, for fear of losing her other half and watching this once strong and capable man deal with such a horrific situation. If we can help raise money for this wonderful couple to help pay for the ungodly amount of medical debt and maybe even help with a few bills while they are dealing with this difficult time then that would be amazing.
