Craig's medical

Doing this for my brother Craig Conrad.  He is a USMC veteran and has been in the Miami VA hospital due to throat cancer since November.  They did radiation to try and save voicebox, but that destroyed the box.  Resulted in a Throat Trech and stomach feeding tube.  Once the throat heals they are going to remove the vocie box and disconnect breathing from mouth and nose and relocate to the hole in his neck and replace with a stoma.  This should allow him to eat normally again.  Not sure how he will be able to talk though.  In any case, he applied for social security and declined as he had not pain into the system fora while.  They did approve SSI for a small amount but also declined.  Turns out my brother and I had been helping him out financially so he could keep apartment and they said because of that he did not qualify.  In any case he is unable to work and has since lost apratment.  VA was going to release him to the street until we got a local senator involved.  Trying to raise enough money to help him get back on his feet.  Anyone who knows Craig, knows over the years he would give you the shirt off his back and always there to help his friends.  Hoping some will return the favor.  Anything helps.  God bless and thanks.
