Update:

Jake has thankfully been cleared and does not need skin graft surgery. He is healing up beautifully and should make a full recovery. However, his place of work has thoughtlessly not approved his advanced leave, leaving it on his desk and is refusing to help even after all of Jake’s time working there diligently and giving his best and getting things done loyally for his place of work. (To whom it may concern you’re disappointing in your selfish actions during one of your most loyal employees time of crisis and need for assistance, shame on you!)

with that being said Jake is still out of work for an unknown amount of time until he is cleared to return to work. And thus, still not receiving any income. Again this is not a forced donation but anything is much appreciated and would mean the world in helping this amazing man out in his time of need.

Hello all,

On Saturday June 14th we unfortunately experienced a grease fire in my kitchen. Though the damage was minimal my boyfriend Jake has sadly suffered serious burns on both of his hands and will require skin graft surgery. Because of this we unfortunately don’t know how long it will be until he is healed enough to go back to work and normal daily life. He is a pipe fitter and has three kids and he’s always been a hard-working man. The donation goal is small because I know times are indeed tough for everyone. Though we have no way of telling how long the healing process will be or how much we may need to raise, I have decided to create this go fund me in order to help any way I can for his recovery. Every little bit helps so any and all possible donations are greatly appreciated during this time. If you are unable to donate we understand and feel free to share this out to get the word out if possible.
