Hello Friends and Family! Thank you for the outreach of support for my sister-in-law, Irene. Irene and Max are safe and are temporarily housed in Chico. Irene was at work early in the morning at Butte College when she received the evacuation notice. The roads were already blocked to her community and she was unable to get home. A friend of her’s was able to get to her home and so not ask too much of her, she only asked for 3 things...her dog, Max, the ashes of Posey girl (dog) and the ashes of Jaso (dog)...her babies. It has been confirmed to her this morning that her Paradise home was destroyed along with the entire Paradise community in the Camp Fire that is still raging. 

Many of you know Irene and know that she is one of the most thoughtful, loving and giving persons around...not to mention SUPER FUN! She is an athletic trainer at Butte College, so she is always caring for “her kids” (athletes) and will even take time to help out friends and family with their “ailments”(injuries) when asked. Honestly, I just witnessed her helping a perfect stranger at an Oakland A’s game as she saw he was experiencing knee pain. Always looking to help others...THAT is our Irene. Anyway, I just wanted to create this account as a way to help her get back on her feet. She didn’t have a chance to grab anything...but most notebly any daily essentials...clothes, bathroom items, make up,etc...things we take for granted that we use in our everyday lives.
