Hey all,
My neighbour and good friend Daniella (25) has been diagnosed with crappy old Cancer! She's fighting the damn thing and will continue to fight till the end.
I've decided that the best way to support her fight is to help find a cure for this dreadful diagnosis.
Daniella is being treated by the wonderful staff at Peter Mac, not only are they caring for her but they are always researching best methods to make treatments less painful for their patients.
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is internationally recognised for helping lead the search for cancer cures. Now a little about me, I'm a mother of two wonderful children, I study full time and hope to be a teacher within the next few years. Daniella has been my support as I returned to school as a mature aged student, without her support, guidance (and a lot of rereading essay's) and coffee I don't think I would be where I am now. I've now completed a few runs for various charaties however I feel compelled to do this one, and, it's going to be my longest distance to date: 10 Kilometers.
