A Family In Need - Support the Swain Family

After being a dedicated employee of Colonial Electric Supply since August of 2018, Mr. James Swain recently began coming in to work with a huge weight on his shoulders but kept his suffering to himself. Little did anyone know but his wife of 19 years, Heather Swain, had been diagnosed with cancer and had been out of work for some time due to her diagnosis. Her recent journey through treatments and surgeries has now come to the point that the family most dreaded.

Heather’s condition has worsened and she has been sent home to be taken care of using hospice care with little chance of long term survival. James and his wife have a house and two teenage daughters to take care of during these troubling times as well. Both Parris, who is 17 and about to graduate from high school and Asiah, 13, are staying strong and helping their father take care of his wife and their mother. This is no easy feat and while nurses and home care assistants stop by to help, they can only help with quality of life for his wife while the bills are left solely for James to take care of. 


James needs our help to pay for things from food for his family to the mortgage,utility bills, and now funeral arrangements as his wife is not expected to be able to survive for much longer. All of the bills have fallen behind and James has exhausted all of his retirement funds to keep the family afloat. At this time of year when we all come together, let us also help James and his beautiful wife and daughters get through this tough time as best they can while she is still alive and for the long road ahead after she passes on. Anything you can and care to give is welcomed and appreciated so the Swain family is not left in the cold and is able to maintain their household while giving their love to their matriarch.  Thank you so much from the Swain family.
