Adrian suffer a severe TBI after being ejected from a vehicle while honey mooning with his wife Cassandra shortly after they were married in 2020. Because of the health care system in their area they didn’t receive the care that they should have in every aspect. Adrian should have received a craniotomy directly after impact on order to relieve pressure and allow his brain to swell. He did not receive the inpatient and outpatient therapies that we often time take for granted in the US and was essentially sent home after he was deemed “medically stable”. I’m trying to raise awareness of Adrian and Cassandras story in hopes we can get them to the US for therapies which would aid in his recovery and over all well being at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab located in Chicago which is know for leading the way in Brain injury rehabilitation.
