Calling all Friends and Family

Calling all Friends and Family,
We are trying to get one of our Great Friends through a devastating time in their life.
I’m talking about our Great Friends John (Dad) Vicky (Mom) and Nicole (Daughter) Krohn.
This is a Family that would help anyone out in a second and not even think about it.
They have helped friends in need of a place to stay while going through bad times themselves.
They would rather have them in their home safe then in the streets.
Six years ago, Vicky was diagnosed with Esophagus Cancer.
It took a big toll on the family going through chemo and all the doctor visits.
There was days Vicky couldn’t get out of bed. John would have to stay home to help her get through the day.
Vicky stayed strong with the help of family and friends and got through.
She has been Cancer free for five years. We were so happy for Vicky. John ended up in the Hospital a few times being a diabetic he had some health issues with his legs and back. While this was going on the car ended up breaking down and they couldn’t afford to get it fixed.
A year after being cancer free Vicky had a heart attack and they had to put stents in her. John works in NYC as an Elevator Technician and must work on call once a month staying in the city for the weekend. It was very stressful not being home with Vicky.
Nicole took on a full-time job to help. With all the bills coming in they just couldn’t keep up with them.
The house needs a lot of repairs that they can’t even get to at this time.
The other night they went to bed and were watching T.V., and John notice Vicky was making a weird breathing noise and called out to her, but no reply.
He noticed she was rocking back and forth, and the noise stopped. He put the light on and noticed Vicky wasn’t breathing. He jumped out of bed and started CPR on Vicky as he called 911. As they were walking John thought things to do, the Ambulance showed up. They were able to get a pulse. They rushed Vicky to Stony Brook Hospital. After a few hours they had Vicky in a room and said she was stable.
After running tests on Vicky during the night and the next morning, they called John and Nicole and said there was no hope for Vicky. She had another heart attack and lost oxygen to the brain. She was brain dead.
The hardest thing to do is having to pull the plug on a family member. At this time John and Nichole are so lost without Vicky.
She took care of everything.
I’m hoping we can come together and help resolve some of the medical bills and maybe something towards a car.
I want to thank you all for helping the Krohn Family with all your Generous Contributions.
Please PRAY for all the people out there going thought bad times.
