Whilst on holiday in Croatia, Will fell from the 4th floor of his hotel in a freak accident. His life was saved by the fortune of falling on a small bush, however suffered multiple broken bones and many extensive injuries including those to his lungs, kidney and spine, requiring 5 hours of immediate surgery at a hospital for a shattered femur in Croatia. The injuries have left Will experiencing significant pain. After a week in intensive care, Will was able to move to a trauma ward/high dependency unit.
Unfortunately Will's insurance has declined to fund his return to the UK via emergency transport. He needs further urgent surgery on his femur to be able to walk again and needs to return to the UK urgently; the hospital in Croatia is not able to provide this operation or provide any further operations on his spine or pelvis.
Every day counts to get him home for the operations that he needs.
