Jazzys fight with Cancer

Hi , my name is Jasmine , and I’m starting this go fund me page for my daughter Jazmarie a.k.a Jazzy . Jazmarie is a bright and loving little girl , who literally can brighten up any room she walks in with her positive energy and sweet nature . She is only 11 yrs old. (She just turned 11 on 12/23/22). On 12/27/22 I took Jazzy for her yearly physical . Nothing was wrong . She felt great , wasn’t sick , just a regular check up … so we thought. During her visit, her pediatrician felt a hard mass on her abdomen and instructed us to go to radiology imaging for a STAT ultra sound. On Jan 1st we got a call from her pediatrician telling us the ultra sound came back abnormal, and we were instructed to go to the ER for an emergency MRI. She was diagnosed with what they thought was a HUGE ovarian teratoma on her left ovary. So, we scheduled surgery and got it out right away. But , when the surgeon opened her up , he realized she had tumors on her right ovary as well , and suggested she may have polycystic ovarian syndrome . All thought to be benign tumors/cyst. To take it a step further they notice her kidneys had what they thought were cyst too and diagnosed her with polycystic kidney disease . We were crushed and confused . About a week later after removing her tumor, on 1/12/2023 , I received a call from her surgeon that changed all of our lives instantly , he told me the polycystic kidney and ovarian diagnosis was wrong , and that the pathologists believe the tumor they removed was actually malignant and what ever it is, has spread to her kidneys. We were quickly admitted to Advent Health Orlando, and she has been diagnosed with aggressive Stage Three Diffused large B cell lymphoma . Childhood cancer definitely hit home for us and caught our entire family off guard, because again , Jazzy had zero symptoms of cancer and in fact her cancer started in her ovaries, which is very rare for lymphoma;Thank god for her pediatrician because we would have never known until it was too late . I say all of this to say this …. I have never been the one to ask for financial help , especially from strangers , but life has a way of humbling you . We need help. Jazzy will need about six months of chemo treatment here in Orlando , we live in Lakeland, it’s about an hour away , she’ll be staying in the hospital for the next 12 days and then will be in and out of the hospital and clinics pretty frequently , she’ll need to be home schooled, and requires 24/7 home care. which unfortunately means I will have to give up my job to care for her. Im asking for donations to help us pay our bills which includes our mortgage for our home , car payments , electric etc. and medical expenses her insurance will not cover for the next six months while I’m out of work caring for her . If you find in your heart to donate , just know any amount is truly appreciated. If you cannot donate we understand too .
