Nickie's Fight

Hi, I'm Stephen and I'm raising funds for my wonderful sister-in-law Nickie Colman. My identical twins' wife, Nickie, was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. The doctors have recommended an aggressive treatment plan. She recently started four months of chemotherapy which will be followed by a mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery.

This will be a long and challenging journey. She will have to take unpaid time off work which means increased financial stress on Nickie and my brother.

Nickie is the loving mom to four amazing elementary school age children. She is a long-time former NYC public school teacher who has devoted her life to teaching in underserved communities. She's currently a popular middle school math teacher in the New Jersey town where my brothers and I grew up. I created this page in hopes of raising funds for uncovered aspects of her medical care and additional living and childcare expenses.
