Wachusett High School runner, Jake Gaumond, suffered a traumatic brain injury during a car accident on Tuesday, June 20th. The doctors are estimating he will need at least a year to recover. Candy, his single mother, will miss many days of work over the next year, and will not receive a paycheck for the days she spends in the hospital. The more money we raise for Jake, the more time Candy can spend at Jake's side, cheering him on as he recovers day-by-day.
