Family, friends and those concerned with the education of our youth. I come to you today with a heavy heart.  My child is a sophomore at Tennessee State University. After receiving her financial award letter a few days into the semester, I was dismayed to learn that we would still owe $3000 for the semester. I am asking that Kylie's community come together to raise some funds for her to remain in school. If she doesn't have $3000 by Wednesday September 5th she will have to leave school. As a freshman at Tennessee State University, she finished out with a 3.2 grade point average which is recognized on the Dean List. She defeated all odds going away from what she knows by finishing out her freshman year successfully.
