MEET 15 YEAR OLD JAY:

A remarkable teen facing enormous challenges

BACKGROUND:

Jay is a kind, brilliant, well loved ambitious 15-year-old Jamaican boy. Like most boys Jay’s age, he likes to ride his bike, play soccer, track and field, cricket and other physical activities.

MEDICAL CHALLENGE:

About a year ago, Jay was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (Osteosarcoma) that led to the removal of his right leg in a life-saving procedure. This unexpected turn has temporarily taken Jay out of school and from the physical activities he likes. But Jay is resilient and determined to fight, but he still needs your support.

Despite facing adversities, he has maintained exceptional academic performance, earning straight A's in his studies and great admiration by his peers.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS:

Even in the face of health challenges, Jay continues to be a shining example of academic excellence. His commitment to education showcases not only his intelligence but also his tenacity to overcome obstacles.
