Hi everyone! We are the James Madison University Club Ski and Snowboard Racing Team! This year, we are sending 7-10 athletes who have qualified to compete and represent JMU to the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association's (USCSA) National Championships! Our athletes have worked extremely hard this season, practicing twice a week and attending races in Virginia and North Carolina every weekend, and are so excited to have this once in a lifetime opportunity to represent James Madison University at the national level!

Our team made an appearance at the 2020 National Championships and swept the podium!  Our men's snowboarders finished 2nd in the nation in Slalom and Boardercross and our women's snowboarders finished 2nd in the nation in Slalom! We were disappointed when the National Championships were canceled last year, as we were supposed to travel to Mammoth Lakes, CA; however, we are that much more eager and excited to compete this year and show the country that James Madison University athletics are on the rise and ready to compete for the gold!

This year, the USCSA National Championships will take place from March 6th-12th at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, NY! The trip to NY is an expensive one, as all athletes will have to pay for accommodations, travel costs, food, a week of lift tickets, AND race fees for each event they compete in (most athletes will be competing in 3 events). We would love to raise enough money to pay for the majority of these costs (as skiing and snowboarding are expensive sports) and kindly ask that if you are willing and able, you take a moment and donate to help our team represent James Madison University at the national level! We welcome donations of any and all sizes!
