Lady is in need of our help!
Pablo and I fostered Lady for 6 months this past year through an organization called PAWS:

She is a gentle, loving, five year old pit bull who has found a special place in our heart and family.
About 6 months ago she had a tear in her cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). Left untreated it can lead to joint swelling, extreme pain, and arthritis in her hips. She is currently in a brace and taking anti-inflammatory and pain medications to help her walk.
Luckily there are no signs of arthritis in her hips/legs so she is a good surgery candidate - and has a 90% chance for recovery.
Without surgery she will only be able to manage walk with meds and her brace for the rest of her life.
The surgery will cost $3,500, plus a few hundred more for follow-up appointments. Unfortunately PAWS and her owner will be unable to cover the cost.
