This is the story of my beautiful niece, Madisyn.
The daughter of Kumi and Melanie (Allen) Tamaki,
eight year old Maddie, with a heart full of love, had a wonderful 2014 Christmas full of family and fun.
Four days later, she suddenly became ill, rapidly deteriorated and is now fighting for her life. She is battling acute fulminant myocarditis, requiring the use of mechanical circulatory, pulmonary and renal support & ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). The costs of providing her with the best care possible are adding up quickly. We love her so much and will do anything possible to give her the best. Please find the love in your hearts, to help us help Maddie's heart heal.
