JMK Pause, Love, Light & Revive Fundraiser

In the spring of 2018, our amazing friend, Jenn, was diagnosed with stage 3a Breast Cancer. After processing, and coming to terms with that scary diagnosis, she learns, after further testing, that it’s stage 4 cancer and has spread to her spine, bones, and pelvic with an addition to a lesion on her brain. Her oncologist plans the aggressive treatment plan for the months to come and Jenn, with a smile on her face and determination with all the energy she has left, moves forward with her treatments while facing a move from Ocean City, NJ to Somers Point, NJ in addition to supporting her mother with an illness of her own to battle.

The costly, and aggressive procedure begins to take a toll on Jenn as a result of the insurance company making things even more challenging by denying medication(s), refusing payment(s), and not covering certain treatments. Due to the severity of her health issues, she is unable to work at this time and her savings account decreases daily with the accruing medical bills, home bills, cost for travel to and from Penn for treatment, and the costs of "life" as we all know it. The battle is not only medical at this point but, financial.

After learning this, we (her family/friends), have decided to start this page for her to help out as much as we can until she is well enough to be back on her feet! Enduring this disease is challenging enough without having to deal with the financial aspect and any little bit helps!
