Emergency Relief for Lebanon

Hi, my name Leila Melki, a Lebanese woman born and raised in Melbourne Australia. My sister, Alia Melki, a Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor, living in Lebanon since 2005.

Our family home in Lebanon is in the North of Lebanon where it is currently safe. Millions of displaced Lebanese citizens have fled to the North for safety and shelter. One of the most beautiful characteristics of the Lebanese people is their ability to unite and have compassion to help a fellow brother or sister.

My sister and I have collaborated to create a fundraiser to help cover the costs of essentials for these families who have left their homes, cars, animals back in the South without knowing if they'll have a home to come back to.

We are asking for financial contributions to help these families be provided for with food, shelter, mattresses, anything necessary to help them for the time being.
