About JMEC Free Eye Camp

Since 2022, the JMEC Free Eye Camp has been dedicated to restoring and protecting the gift of sight for those who cannot afford essential eye care.

In our 2022 and 2024 camps, we successfully provided completely free treatment to thousands of patients, covering:

Full eye examinations

Prescription glasses for those with poor vision

Cataract surgeries to restore sight

Medication and follow-up care for common and chronic eye conditions

Now, as we plan our third camp in winter 2026, we aim to reach even more people — over 1,000 patients — who have no access to quality eye care.

Our Mission for 2026

Your support will go directly toward:

Purchasing medical supplies, lenses, and glasses

Funding cataract surgeries and postoperative care

Every £25 can provide a pair of glasses.

Every £50 can fund diagnostic exams and medication.

Every £150 can restore someone’s vision through cataract surgery.
