Hi, my name is Carly and my 6 month old kitten, Apollo, was recently diagnosed with FIP. FIP is considered fatal without treatment. Upon diagnosis, Apollo had to stay two nights in the ICU at the emergency vet clinic. He suffered from respiratory distress (difficulty breathing) due to fluid buildup in his lungs from FIP and had to be hooked onto an oxygen tube for 48 hours. Current vet bill for the diagnosis and testing is $6000 CAD. Current planned treatment is over $2200 (assuming no complications). Any donations will ONLY be used for the vet bill and medications for Apollo. I do not expect all of the costs to be covered, hence why the goal is set to $3000. However, any amount is appreciated!
