Hey guys. I’m asking for help for my sister, her husband and my brand new nephew Waylon. He is in the hospital very sick. He was born in August and has recently started getting sick losing weight and not holding down bottles. He was admitted and immediately diagnosed with Renal tubular acidosis but there is more going on. Doctors told her she could no longer feed him by mouth. This morning they did a scope and biopsy of multiple organs to try and find out what’s going on. He had a central line put in during the procedure today for nutrients and will be in the hospital for quite a while. While recovering his heart rate dropped and they have gone in to do an echo. He is so tiny and fragile. This is my sisters first baby. She waited until she was ready and nothing could have prepared her for this. She planned on being back at work and had everything in place only for her whole world to turn upside down.
