Ecole Jeannine Manuel UK - Help us help our carers
Since our school opened five years ago, we have pulled together to help fight hunger around the world, to support education Malawi, India and Namibia, to help those most in need… the list goes on and the results show the incredible force of our community when we come together.
Given the difficult circumstances, we felt the need to act and help where we can. We therefore decided to find a way to utilise the great strength of our community to participate in the national effort to support our health workers.
As we looked for ways to help, we came across testimonials from doctors and nurses expressing their gratitude for receiving comforting, warm and healthy meals during their shifts. Although these were small acts of kindness, we felt that they were significant and within reach for our community. This is why we decided to start an online fundraiser to support those who are working tirelessly to keep us safe!
Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised close to £23,400 with our Race Against Hunger. Reaching £25,000 through our fundraiser would mean 5,000 hot meals delivered to NHS staff - together, I am sure that we can make it happen!
We will be donating all funds collected to Meals for the NHS which sends all money raised directly to local businesses who then prepare and deliver the food to our frontline heroes.
