JMA Welsh Farm Borehole Fund

We are raising money for The John Mason Association Welsh Farm (Troedrhiwgelli Fawr). Our water supply has started to dry up and we need to drill a bore hole and install a new water system in order to continue to run trips in the future. Troed has given students at John Mason School amazing opportunities for over 50 years, please help us to continue to do this for another 50 years (at least).

More information about John Mason Association (JMA):
The JMA is another name for the friends of John Mason School or John Mason PTA. Anyone with any connections with the school - parents, teachers, governors, students - is automatically a member of the JMA.

The JMA is run by a committee of parents and staff in order to foster good links between home and school, to provide encouragement and support in all areas of school life, and to fundraise towards these aims.

We not only provide funds to enrich students’ time at John Mason School but also support the school in many other ways and provide extra pairs of hands when needed. We arrange social activities which are great fun and a chance to meet other parents and students.

JMA has been a registered charity since 1967 and our stated purpose is as follows...
THE ASSOCIATION SHALL EXIST TO SUPPORT THE JOHN MASON SECONDARY SCHOOL. IT SHALL ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, AND TO FURTHER THIS OBJECT THE ASSOCIATION MAY:
A) FOSTER MORE EXTENDED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH SCHOOL; AND
B) ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING IT.
