Help Becky with Her Bills

UPDATE (March 22, 2025) 

Hello all.

Last time you heard from me it was at the three month mark of not having a job, and it’s been almost six months and still unable to find one, even though I’ve had interviews and am up to around 250 applications.

In fact, I’m working with vocational rehab now and still nothing. :( They can take up to 6 months and I started in February. 

I know I’ve already asked for help, and I hate asking for help again, but that is where I am at. I have a wedding in a few months and pennies are tight. Any help is appreciated. 

Plus if you know anywhere is hiring, that would be great!

Hi all!

This is not the story I thought I’d be telling about myself at almost age 40. But here I am.

in October I was suddenly laid off (terminated) from my workplace with no warning. Since then I have applied for over 100 jobs with no hits whatsoever. 

I have been trying to get unemployment since then but it has been well over a month with nothing in sight of reaching so I am reaching out to y’all for some help.

this would be the amount I would have made if I had kept working from October until the end of this month. This is to help with medical costs, and other necessary bills (food and such) that have come up. 

Any help is appreciated and if you aren’t able to give, please share the story far and wide. Thank you again. Love each and every one of you.
