Dear Friends and Family,
This is a difficult time for our family as the rock of our family is battling for her life. We need your help!
On January 10th, while attempting to care for her dad, Rhonda felt a sharp pain in her upper back. Shortly after, her breathing became labored and she was in excruciating pain. The following morning, she struggled with not being able to breathe, extreme nausea, heart palpitations, severe back pain and weakness. Feeling terribly ill, she asked her sister to drive her home. Upon arriving home, she promptly called her doctor to inform her of her symptoms. Concerned that her symptoms were due to COVID, her doctor instructed her to immediately call 911. Rhonda was in the emergency room when she went into cardiac arrest. The medical team was able to resuscitate her with CPR and she was taken into emergency angiogram surgery. From the procedure, the doctors were able to determine that Rhonda had a massive heart attack. Rhonda became critically ill, was intubated and placed on life support. She is now being treated by an amazing cardiac team at UCLA.
Today, we are asking for your monetary donation. No amount is too small and any contribution is greatly appreciated. All donations will be used toward medical bills and expenses incurred during this unexpected tragedy.
We thank you for your prayers, positive thoughts and love during this very difficult time.
With love,
Michele and Cindy
