My name is Cameron McNally, I am 17 years old and a current year 13 student at St. Michael’s Catholic Grammar School, London. I am participating in a group volunteering project to Luanda, which will take place in July 2016.
The project will involve working on five projects over the course of 2 weeks, which include:
1) The St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Centre for Street Children
2) Ebukuya School for the Deaf
3) Ebukuya Primary School
4) Ebusiratsi Secondary School
5) Ebukhiliti Primary School
We will be staying in the Formation Centre of the Mill Hill Missionaries, in the Parish.
I will be travelling with a group of 12 other students and teachers from St Michael’s. I must raise a minimum of £1500 in order to fund flights and accommodation, as well as living costs and a donation to the projects who will be hosting us.
My first fundraising efforts will be made carrying out a sponsored walk from Talley Ho Corner, North Finchley, to Buckingham Palace – following a 12 mile route. I will be doing the walk alongside two students also taking part in the Luanda Project. We propose to do the walk on Saturday 7th November 2015.
I have set an individual target of raising £500 from this and would kindly like to ask if you, your workplaces, friends and family may help sponsoring me. I would be extremely grateful of any support/ donations you have to offer.
