On October 19th, 2025, our beloved brother and son, Besim Muminovic, tragically passed away at just 28 years old. Besim was a kind soul with a heart full of love and compassion. He touched the lives of everyone around him through his generosity, humor, and warmth.
Besim was one of those rare souls who made the world better simply by being in it. Helping others came naturally to him it was simply who he was, always giving, always lifting those around him.
His smile could brighten any room, his heart overflowed with compassion, and his generosity knew no limits. Even though he’s gone, the love he shared continues to live on through all of us who were blessed to know him.
To honor his beautiful soul, we’re raising funds to build drinking wells that will provide clean water to those in need. Each well has the power to provide safe, life-sustaining water to up to 500 people every single day a gift that truly changes lives. We believe that giving water the source of life is one of the most meaningful ways to carry on his legacy.
Even though Besim is no longer with us, through this effort he will continue to help people every single day. His name will stand beside every drop of water that brings hope, health, and life to others.
Depending on the location and depth of the well, the cost typically ranges between $10,000 and $15,000. Any additional funds raised will go toward maintenance, repairs, or even a second well if we surpass our goal.

We are still in disbelief at the amount of love, support, and generosity we have received. In the darkest moment of our lives, you showed up for us and for Besim in a way we will never forget. Besim had a heart that touched everyone who crossed his path. He was kind, gentle, full of life, and always the first to help without ever expecting anything in return. What has moved us the most is seeing how even people who never met him were touched by his story and inspired by the kind of person he was. Knowing that his light reached far beyond those who knew him personally brings us comfort we can’t describe.
Now that we’ve had a little time to grieve, we will begin exploring the best organizations and options for building the water wells, along with other meaningful projects in his name. Our goal is to create something lasting a legacy of good deeds that will continue flowing not only on behalf of Besim, but on behalf of every single one of you who made this possible. Your kindness will live on through the lives that are touched by this work.
