This story seems very hard to tell:I have known Michelle since 2006 and she has always had an upbeat, cheerful personality. She is strong-willed, persistent and a fighter. Throughout our time together, we fell in love and got married in 2013. I have heard about all of the pain, physically and emotionally, that she went through when she was younger. She had organ failure and endured a kidney transplant, as well as other medical issues. She fought for her life then and she is staying strong fighting now.
Michelle was diagnosed in June of 2015 with B-cell Lymphoma. Post-transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder is the medical term for her condition. It only effects 2% of organ transplant recipients. Michelle has many tumors in her pelvic region, and a 6cm tumor in her abdominal region. She is going through her treatments at the University of Michigan Cancer Center. Her first round of treatment just ended in September and her follow-up appointment is in October and those results will determine whether or not she will need to be on Chemotherapy. (We will update this blog as we go along)
Through even the toughest times, she continues to maintain a good, healthy relationship with God. This experience has helped us grow in our relationship as well. The medical bills just started rolling in. Please help us in our time of need. Any donations will be appreciated to help us out. Thank you.
"The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace."
- Numbers 6: 24-26
Many Blessings,
