Our family is asking for help for a man who has spent his entire life helping others—my dad.
Today, he is facing the toughest fight of his life: stage four prostate cancer.
My dad has always been a fighter in every sense of the word. In his younger years, he even had the honor of sparring with the legendary Chuck Norris. But more importantly, his strength has always shown in the way he lived his life—with kindness, resilience, and an unwavering willingness to show up for anyone in need.
He has a huge heart. The kind of heart that doesn’t hesitate. The kind that gives without expecting anything in return. Over the years, he has opened his home, his time, and his love to so many—helping friends, neighbors, and even strangers when they needed it most.
Most of all, he has been the backbone of our family. He stepped up to help raise his grandchildren, and even his great-grandchildren, giving them stability, love, and guidance when they needed it most. He didn’t do it for recognition—he did it because that’s who he is. When working for the sheriff's department in Kansas, he even started a garden to grow food for the women’s shelter in Kansas, giving the inmates a project that they could be proud of and a part of giving back to the community.
Now, he needs help.
As he battles stage four prostate cancer, the emotional and financial strain on our family has grown. Medical bills, treatments, and daily expenses are becoming overwhelming, and we want to make sure he can focus on what matters most—fighting this disease and spending time with the people he loves.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and every bit truly helps. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page means the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story, and for helping us support a man who has given so much to others throughout his life.
Now it’s our turn to stand by him.
