Joseph Vitolo's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On 01/01/2015, my brother Joseph passed away peacefully in his sleep. Although all of the circumstances surrounding his death are not currently available to us, we can say for sure that this was obviously not expected, and a shock to all.
As evident by all of the support, prayers, and well wishes on his Facebook page within the last day... Joey was loved by many. Joey was a good hearted, loving person who lived for his friends and his family. In the Book of John, Jesus said "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends," and I am certain that is exactly what Joey would have done for any one of his.
As many can understand in these difficult times, Joey was young and without life insurance. These are especially challenging times that we are living in, and unfortunately the funeral and burial expenses are extremely expensive. Joey has family members that are working very hard to pull together everything they can to help get him buried on Monday, however, we know it may not be enough… and our costs may not be met.
We are placing our hopes in God, that we may be able to get Joey to his final resting place this weekend... If any of Joey's close friends that loved him as much as he loved you would like to help our family, we are asking that donations be made in lieu of flowers to help offset the extremely high funeral costs. All donations will be made through a secure site at gofundme.com. Any and all assistance would be greatly loved and appreciated. As of now, Joey's viewing and funeral information is as follows:
Viewing
Sunday Jan 4th, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Quigley Brothers funeral home at 337 Hudson St, Cornwall NY, 12520.
A funeral service will follow on Monday the 5th at 11:00am, followed by the burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
God bless you all and thank you for being such a huge part in Joey's life.
His brother,
Anthony.
