Hello everyone,
I’m writing this today because there is someone special out there in need of our help. Some of you know me personally, and a lot of you may know me through social media and my photography. For those of you that do know me personally, you know my best friend, Chad Hynes, has been a second brother to me since we met in elementary school. My family has been his family, and his family has been mine, for our entire lives. Even though we have traveled down different paths and moved to different locations as we grew older, Chad has still been by my side since we were 6 years old, through both the good and bad times.
Unfortunately, over the last few months, Chad has come down with a severe case of ulcerative colitis. Since this has come on, Chad has been plagued with internal bleeding, extreme weight loss, restless nights, and multiple trips in and out of the hospital. At times, his illness has created very uncomfortable situations and has even lead to some embarrassing situations that a normal human should not have to face in their day-to-day life. This alone has put an enormous amount of strain and stress on his life, both physically and mentally.
Along with the physical and mental struggles, Chad is now facing a serious financial burden. Between the hospital visits, treatment, medications (most of which have proven not to work for his condition up to this point), and missing countless days of work (with little allowed paid sick days remaining), his expenses are beginning to add up quickly. On top of all of this, Chad is expected to marry the love of his life in a little over a month. Our goal is to reach $5K, which will help lift a good amount of the financial burden off of Chad’s shoulders so he can continue to fight this uphill battle free of worrying where his next dollar is going to come from and so he can get to the altar in a happy and healthy state. With a less stressful environment will come an increasingly progressive healthy condition. For many (possibly Chad included), ulcerative colitis can be a lifetime battle, but for now, we just want to get him back to the healthiest state to start his new life with his lovely fiancé and very soon-to-be wife, DeNea.
Any donated money that exceeds the $5K goal will be donated to the cause most suitable to receive funding for ulcerative colitis recognition and treatment. I also would personally like to give away one of my very own printed photos of your choice, signed by me, to the highest donation. Thank you all and any who help out our great friend, Chad Hynes!
