Empowering Women Experiencing Homelessness — One Weekend at a Time

San Diego is home to beautiful beaches, major universities, and professional athletes — but it's also home to thousands of unhoused women who are often overlooked, underserved, and vulnerable.

Project Bloom was created to change that.

Led by NFL athlete JL Skinner and powered by local San Diego athletes and volunteers, Project Bloom is a consistent, hands-on outreach initiative focused specifically on supporting women experiencing homelessness in downtown San Diego.

This isn't a one-day event.

This is a movement.

Every other weekend, we show up with care packages, essential supplies, and real conversations. We focus on dignity, safety, and restoring confidence — because every woman deserves to feel seen, protected, and valued.
