Jordan's Medical Fund

My name is Katherine. My husband, Jordan Vaughn, has recently been given a medical diagnosis that has shaken our world. A persistant cough brought him to the doctor, leading him to the results of Stage 4, Limited, Small Cell Lung Cancer. Being that he is only 26 years old and a non-smoker this is not only rare, but unheard of. As a young, newly-wed couple, we opted for a cheaper health plan alternative, thinking we would get a "real" one later on. With this health plan, we have to make payments out of pocket, and many before treatement. The healthcare group gets a copy of the itemized bill and we can get some of the costs reimbursed. We are in need of support in order to pay for these doctor visits and treatments. With this form of cancer, Jordan doesn't have much time to wait in-between visits. This is also going to be a long road of treatment therapy and more than we can afford on our own.
