Help with monthly expenses

I am asking for your consideration and help for my mom, Elizabeth Dever. Her husband (my dad), James W Dever, passed away on 4/23/2023, 5 days after finding out that he had terminal cancer. They were living tightly on a modest income. He was ill and in and out of hospitals, rehab centers, and skilled nursing facilities for the last few years. Although she has Medicare and some supplemental insurance, the medical bills have added up to some considerable out of pocket costs due to the coverage they had. She will receive survivor’s benefits from Social Security, but this will drastically cut the income they were receiving. She is now being told her survivor benefits from his retirement system, Boeing, will take up to 5 weeks to be processed. With her income already being cut considerably by Social Security , the medical bills, the costs for his final arrangements, and now this, She is very concerned about her financial survival for the upcoming months.We are asking friends and family to help with any amount you can spare.
