Hi, my name is Hearl and I would like to tell you about my girlfriend Andrea.
She works for an automotive parts manufacturer in Kentucky since she transfered here from the main plant in Germany, January 2014. After her contracted time was up with Germany, she decided to stay on with the Kentucky plant and make a home here in the United States. She has trained countless employees and continues to be a major asset to our company.
In January she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
We immediatley began to fight it with every means we have available. Seeing many doctors with the latest techniques and knowledge as well as planning for the coming emotional and physical battles.
Many of our co-workers and friends have selflessly given to her cause and have allowed her to continue her life as uninterrupted as possible over the last few weeks.
However, Andrea being far from home, many have asked how they might contribute a helping hand.
I would like to thank these people for all the support and well wishes they have already brought to her but I hope this fund will allow them to contribute in any way they wish.
This is not only for her long distant friends but those who are close by have already done so much and continue to reinforce her courage every day.
Andrea has completed her first Chemo-Therapy session and is doing well with the side effects. Her blood counts are in acceptable ranges and the nausea has been bearable. She will continue this process over the next 3 months before they will perform the surgery to remove the cancerous cells.
Again, I would like to thank everyone for their support for both Andrea and myself. It has made this time in our lives much easier.
