Support for Austin

Hi, my name is Lori Fletcher. I have created this GoFundMe campaign for our son-in-law-to-be, Austin Winters, and our daughter, Delaney Fletcher. They need your help, support, love, and prayers.

On March 4, 2023 everyone's lives drastically changed as Austin suffered multiple seizures.

On that morning as Delaney was preparing to go to work her service dog, Cinder, was acting nervous and pacing trying to get her attention. When she came out of the bathroom she found Austin convulsing on the couch with Cinder laying on top of him with her head under his neck so he wouldn't choke.

Delaney immediately called 911 and frantically tried helping him with the assistance of the 911 operator until the ambulance arrived. On the way to the hospital, Austin suffered serval more seizures.

Once at the ER the doctors and nurses tried everything to calm him down, stop the seizures, and get him stable. Unfortunately, they could not and had to intubate him and put him into a medically induced coma.

Austin remains in ICU on a ventilator and an ECMO machine fighting for his life.

The doctors are continuing to test and try to diagnose why a young man of 27 years old, with no prior history of seizures remains in this condition. As you can imagine, this has become a nightmare for everyone involved. Instead of continuing to plan for their wedding, they sit waiting for some kind of an answer.

So, we ask for your help. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. No amount is too small, and any amount will truly make a huge impact.
