Help Comfort Jill Jacobs
Donation protected

I am writing on behalf of my daughter Jill. She and her husband Ben were wed just over 2 years ago and meant the world to each other. Then tragedy struck – Jill came home from work on November 24, 2015 and found Ben unresponsive in their bed. Ben had suffered an epileptic seizure while sleeping. Jill immediately called 911 and started performing CPR. Ultimately the efforts of Jill and the paramedics were not enough.
Ben & Jill loved each other so much and had just started their life. They dreamed of growing old together so they purchased a small house with room for their three dogs, four cats, three horses and the newest addition to the family, chickens. They enjoyed playing golf, riding the horses or just lounging around together.
Since Ben’s passing Jill has been left to shoulder the financial burden of a mortgage, a car payment, and the cost of taking care of their animals. Ben’s epilepsy had them at a huge disadvantage when it came to life insurance. The cost of just a small amount of insurance was astronomical, so it was not an option.
Jill is so incredibly devastated and overwhelmed. She continues to receive grief counseling and has not been cleared by her doctor to return to work. She has exhausted all of her paid leave so she is no longer receiving a paycheck. Jill has gone through most of their savings to pay for the funeral and to cover the income deficit of day to day expenses.
I want to help my daughter get through this horrific tragedy. I am reaching out in hope that others will help my daughter with her financial burden until she can get back to work. She has already lost the love of her life and she cannot bear to suffer any more loss right now.
Thank You for taking the time to read this. Your donation is SO VERY MUCH appreciated.
