Hi friends :) I’m not really sure what to say as I’m not good with words and I’m not good at writing, but i made this gofundme to try and help my parents because at this point, it’s the only help i’m able to give them right now.

Last night (January 7), my house burned down in the fires that spread from the Eaton Canyon. I lived in Altadena and my entire life was in that house, so was my little sister’s. My parents' and brother’s childhood were also lost in that fire. I don’t know how to feel right now; none of this even feels real. We didn’t even get to save anything. The only things that made it out of that house are our phones, the clothes on our backs, and each other. I have spent most of my last 24 hours crying and grieving over everything we’ve lost, but above all, I cannot be more grateful that we are all safe. All that’s left for us now to do is try to remain positive and move forward, even if I don’t exactly know where “forward” is from here.

All of you that know me personally know that I absolutely hate asking others for things, whether it’s money or even accepting gifts. I hate that I have to even write this out, but our only source of income as of right now is through my dad who is working. We have suffered a great loss within the last 24 hours and we could honestly really use the help in getting a new place & affording basic necessities. Not only for me, but for my family.

To everyone else that reads this and has suffered a loss themselves because of the fires, I am so sorry you’ve had to experience this. My heart and all my love goes out to you.
