My name is Joshua Thomas Karas. I am 26 years old and am currently a student at Big Bend Community College. I attended Warden High School where I graduated in 2006. I then joined the military as an Armorer and served one tour in Iraq. After I completed my military service term I moved to Moses Lake to attend Big Bend, which is where I currently reside. I am attending college in hopes of obtaining an accounting degree. I currently am receiving my GI Bill from the military to pay for my education. My degree will take me 4 years to achieve, and the GI Bill only lasts 3 years. This is where I am running into trouble. Due to my education goals I am required to attend college full-time. That schedule leaves me with little to no time for work. My education will cost me about $2000.00 every month for living cost, tuition, books, supplies, and fees. This is why I am asking for assistance from good Samaritans to help me achieve my educational goals. I am very determined to complete my education and be able to support myself and hopefully a family in the future. I am currently in my first year of college and starting this page in hopes to reach my goal by the time I hit my forth year. Your generous donations will not be wasted.
