Coach Derrik Boland’s wife, Molly Boland, suffers from a condition called GATA2 gene mutation, a genetic disease with a wide variety of symptoms including severe infections and respiratory problems.  She is currently in Baltimore awaiting a bone marrow transplant.  Coach Boland is a daily inspiration to all of us; always ready to help or crack a joke, never quitting, always trusting and persevering, and his faith in Jesus never wavering. More than anything else, he is a Christian servant to others, and husband to Molly.  The Shades Mountain Christian School baseball team has created this fund to help relieve the burden of lost income while Molly is in Baltimore, as well as medical bills from previous treatment. Please consider blessing this family that gives so much of themselves to others by donating any amount you are led to.  All proceeds will go directly to the Boland family.
