Hello. My name is JJ Gilmour, and I’m an independent musician/artist from Glasgow, Scotland. I’ve been gifted an incredible opportunity to record an album in Nashville with the fantastic renowned producer Chas Sandford at his stunning world-class studio, Secret Sound, working with some of the finest musicians around.

In order to make this a reality, I am reaching out to fans, friends and the music community to help me realise this long held dream.

I have previously recorded 5 critically acclaimed solo albums, and also 3 albums with my previous band, The Silencers, with whom I was lucky enough to tour the world. I can’t explain in words how excited I am at the prospect of recording in Nashville. Ever since hearing Elvis Costello’s songs from back in the eighties that he recorded there, I’ve longed to record there myself. Chas Sandford’s biography stretches from Willie Nelson to Stevie Nicks to name but two. I’m also hoping to co-write a song or two whilst there with Chas, especially after hearing some of his co-writes, like the amazing track 'Missing You' by John Waite.

The songs are written, the studio is geared up, and now I need your help to see me make my dream of recording in Nashville USA happen.
